Our most popular chair the Francesca Rise and Reclining chair is perfect for anyone with disabilities or mobility problems.

Allowing you to keep your independence the Francesca has a complete rise and recline. The chair rises to allow you to easily get into the chair without bending. Once in the chair, at the touch of a button you can be lowered to your perfect sitting, or even lying position. With option of heated lumbar support and a massage system, the Francesca can work those muscle pains away, and even promote circulation.

The Francesca Duo Riser-Recliner allows the backrest and footrest to be moved independently to reach the exact position you want at the touch of a button, or the Mono Riser-Recliner allows the footrest and back to move together, this does not allow quite as many variations in seating positions but shows a saving in costs. These chairs are ideal for sufferers of arthritis, rheumatism, M.S. and many other mobility restrictions. With the touch of a button you can put your feet up, recline to an almost horizontal position for those naps or slowly lift yourself up and gently tilt yourself forward to aid you out of the chair. By releasing the button you have the facility to stop at any position allowing total comfort and freedom safely at your fingertips.

Castors are fitted for easy movement but when the chair is raised, the castors lift away to ensure stability. For ease of delivery and moving from one room to another the Francesca Riser-Recliner is available with a detachable back. Safety plugs are included on this design as well as battery back up in case of power failure. If you are left handed, do not worry just ask for a lefthanded handcontrol.

To add to your comfort, we can offer the following extras: headpillows, armcovers, scatter cushions, inflatable lumbar supports, safety rechargeable back up system and a 10 motor massage with heated lumbar system. This system allows you to massage 10 different areas of your body either by a wave or pulse massage with adjustable speed, intensity and positioning of massager to the zones you require the most. Or sooth that lumbar area with a low or high heat. Our Relaxor massage system helps to provide relief to stiff, tired and strained muscles.

Choose a fabric from our extensive range of plain and patterned velours, traditional tapestries, suede effect fabrics, chenilles and flatweaves. We advise against plain dralons as they show crease marks. All Riser-Recliner seats are fully sprung and covered with Reflex foam for your extra comfort.
