Bath lifts 'give people back their independence'

According to Beauty Hot Buy, many people with mobility problems are often forced to give up some of their independence and may even require assistance when bathing.

"Bath lifts are an amazing invention in that they give back the ability to enjoy a bath to people who had otherwise been forced to bathe via shower or sponge bath."

It added: "The invention of the bath lift has given freedom back to bathers, and has taken some of the burden off caregivers."

According to the research, which was revealed as part of National Carers' Week, many carers feel isolated and lonely.
